anyone heard about these amps?

any opinions on these?

i know they are inexpensive and that their old stuff was good. cant say much about the new stuff.

new stuff is pretty crappy

Look for the Series VII amplifiers from late 90's...bulletproof amplifiers. Own a set myself.

i'll have to agree with what everyone has said here... old stuff was decent to good, new stuff is junk...

alpine, rockford fosgate, kicker, ppi are good names to look for, as well as others...

Wow is that a blast from the past, I used to run a Thor and an Olympus, but that was 10 years ago. At the time I was pleased with these amps but I don't now much about there current lines.

there amps are like 300 watts overrated,very power hungry,and over heat under big loads.save up and get an ma audio amp,there hardcore series rocks.i have a 2000 watt class d from them and it pushs like 2300 watts,never over heats and is .5 ohm stable.oo ya and it has an lcd screen that montiors the temp of the amp the volts.its nice

how much did it run you?

i think ima go get the 4oms version of the alpine type rs and run it as 1 oms

Buy any amp you can find with "Zed Audio" as the designer/production. This includes older Hifonics.

but only get there hardkore series amps.that is there compation grad there other stuff is on the same line as hifonics

I've never had any problems with their amps in the past (being the old Hifonics amps) I have a friend running 2 of their new amps in his Navigator, hasn't had any problems with them at all. He's had them in the truck for about a year now pushing 2 W6 JL's.
