Default Temporary disconnect of bluetooth phone

Hi, I've browsed the forums for relevant topics but not found an answer, here's my question....

I have a RAZR paired with Lexus handsfree, its all working fine. However, at times when I have passengers, there's times when I either receive or make calls which I would rather NOT have come through the handsfree. Is there an easy way of temporarily disconnecting from the handsfree system, without going to the extent of unpairing the phone?

A somewhat humorous occurrence happened the other day; my wife and I were driving somewhere in separate cars; my wife in the Lexus, and my phone paired to it. I received a call, which I picked up. Several seconds later, the Lexus handsfree grabbed the call, as I was following within about 100 feet! My phone went dead, and the party who called me was talking to my wife in the Lexus! Took a couple of attempts before we figured out what was going on... But it would have been nice to be able to easily turn off the bt link!

Any suggestions are welcome; thank you
