Default 2000 LS400 Nav hard drive upgrade - do it yourself

Is there no software to buy or DL where one can upgrade the existing hard drive for nav? There has got to be an easier way instead of shelling out $300?

http://lexus-parts.com/partlist.asp?...=73&ModelID=23

Is it not a standard hard drive?

about a year ago i had an offer to download a torrent for the lexus navigation map onto the harddrive but it turned out to be a free lance software investigator whose job it is to catch others duplicating software . so i would be leery of offers to do such a task for you.
