I have a 99 GS300 and was wondering if my component tweeters will fit in the stock A-pillar locations without additional modification. I have Focal Utopia TN51 one and a quarter inch titanium tweeters and the matching 6 1/2' high mid speaker set. Do I have to do a custom fab or kick panels, or will they fit in the stock A-pillars?

i've pondered this as well. they might be a tad too big, i have the TN47's in there for my 165V2's in my doors and they barely fit. you could just take off the surrounding, or shave it down that will help you save a few milimeters

Anyone ever run this setup? I was thinking of doing custom tweeter enclosures towards the far ends of the dash underneath the front windshield like the stock RX tweeters are mounted.

But has anyone ever fit TN51 (1 1/4") tweeter in the stock 1999 GS300 A-Pillars in the front doors?
