Audio GURU's: please provide feedback on the Kenwood DDX-6019 unit. I found a source that will install this unit plus the KNA-G510 (nav unit) for 1600.00 bucks.
the cheapest the head unit goes for new is 699 or so +/- 50$ and the nav goes for 500 +/- 50$ soooo. 1250 Est for the gear and $350 for install sounds kind of high but it may be normal in your area. if you trust the installer and know he wont nick your panels up and will run the wires right you should come out fine.. how is he going to merge the unit into stock? or is the stock stuff gone already? the specs look good but it doesnt state if it has a powered center channel or not. i watched X men 3 on mine today (waiting for my wifes flight) and the center ch was the poop.
The Kenwood DDX-6019 unit was the best investment I have ever made on my car audio system. I would suggest adding the navigation and back up camera as well. But, trust me, you will be 100% satisfied. Dont forget also to add the bluetooth system for an extra $110.00. Here are a few pics of the monitor and back-up camera.
for that price you can get a DNX-7100, it has biult in nav with USB access. o yeah crutchfield has the dnx7100 for 1400.. that also comes with factory warenty.
