Default speakers. audio. my new project.

hey guys, long time member first time poster, simple question.

i am currently "re-defining" my sc300 audio capabilities. i recently bought a pioneer avic-z1 and up next for my list are speakers...

simply put, if i buy a compenent set for my front speakers (tweeter and doors), then what should i put for the extra 2 rear speakers??? another set of components (tweeters on the back?!?!) or regular 2-way speakers?

appreciate the help. this forum has been my best friend since i decided to "modernize" my car.

Unless you carry passengers a lot, I'd just stick with coax speakers for the rear. They're easier to install and generally cost less money. Rear is for fill only (IMO)

components in the front, coax in the rear.

like AZ said, the rears are mainly for fill anyways

you can directly put in 4" speakers in the black pods, or you can put 5.25" in the back deck, or make something custom for 6.5" which is what I'm going to be doing here in the near future

how much did you pay for the avic-z1? I've seen them retail for 2300 but i've seen one go for like 1200...actually have the site on hand right now if anyone was looking to buy one.
