Default help on clarification.

i need the help from all you audio helpers and gurus.
i pulled up the diagram for the pioneer audio system in my car and was looking at the set -up.
i realised with the exception of the left rear speaker(LRS), all the other speakers and the sub wires run straight into the amp.
the LRS runs solo into the "telephone transreciever & speaker relay" and then proceeds from there to join the rest into the amp.
can somebody tell me what this "telephone transreciever & speaker relay" is and i know i am getting rid of the stock amp and splicing the end to join to the aftermarket unit but do i leave the connection of the LRS to the "telephone transreciever & speaker relay" and and just grab it at the end where it plugs into the amp?
i hope i make sense(wish i could upload the diagram)
but it can be gttenfro here ; http://arrc.epnet.com/autoasp/index....ain.autorefctr

thanks guys
