How hard to add a sub to my nakamichi system?

I'm looking to get rid of the 10" stock and add a 12" plus a seperate amp. I want to use stock everything else. Is there a DIY guide for this? How hard is it to do compared to say a normal after market stereo? Any differences?

a line level converter from the original sub leads to the seperate amp that powers your new sub.

where do tap to get the remote power for the amp?

may sound getto, but easiest place would be behind the lighter. it's controlled by ignition. only if your not pulling the unit out, if your doing the quick amp sub upgrade. which is getto system anyways
