Hey guys,
I ordered the es300 install kit for my 1999 gs300 im going to see if I can fit it in my car. Hopefully I can and Ill tell you guys about it. But what im concerned about is the wiring harness.. My dumbass found one for the gs300 1999 but i didnt buy it so and now I cant find it...do you guys have any suggestions where I can find one or what I should us instead of one? thanx for ure help

Simple. Just get a 87-up Metra harness for Toyota cars. Theres two plugs that come with the set, you'll need the smaller plug. The plug will need rewiring and you'll only need 3 wires. One for constant 12 volt, one for switched 12 volt and one for ground. If and when you get the harness, let me know. I'll give you the pinouts.

To rewire the plug, look on the pin side. You'll see a small "barb" that holds the wire/connector in place. Release this with a small precision screwdriver or paperclip. It'll pop out. Knock all of the wires out and then replug them in different locations. Then everything will work for the Lexus!

I found one for the lexus and ordered it..its for the lx 450 should that work ok?? hope so please reply and let me know..thanxx

I thought Lexus only had the LX470? Hmmm. Wiring is hopefully the same. Keeping my fingers crossed. Let me know!
