yeah it does but i think you have a good plan so far (besides the cap local) you can blend it in with the amps. what about this? sub in the middle, small amp, cap and distro block on one side, bigger amp on the other side with a neon light strip that accents the gear in place of the stock trunk light? just a thought.

Sorry to thread hiijack here, but I have to ask you what you mean by:

1) "New rating system"
2) "You can believe it better than the old Orion HCCA 225 days"

The Orion HCCA amps were AWESOME amps!!! They were able to drop to 1/2 or 1/4 ohm, hence putting out 100s and 100s of TRUE rms watts... Clean power too... I ran a 250HCCA at 400 watts RMS to a single 12" and it sounded amazing...

I have 1 10 with 700rms. It sounds pretty nice, but I need a new(better) box. The one I have right now I bought off ebay for like 10 bucks, the sub likes to loosen the screws and come out the box a little, so it sometimes with certain bass notes, it sounds a little wierd. I think one of those subs, with the right amp will be nice.
The amp I have is a Lanzar HTG2600D (http://lanzar.com/itempage.asp?MODEL=HTG2600D) and a Lanzar HRWDC10 sub (http://lanzar.com/itempage.asp?MODEL=HRWDC10). I have it running at 2 ohms, but I dont have the gain turned all the way up on it so I dont blow my sub. Its an awesome amp, the only thing I really need to complete my system would be a 4 channel amp, new rear speakers and a capacitor.
The way I have my trunk setup is ok..the sub and box is on one side, and the amp is on the other, therefor I still have trunk space.
Good luck with your decisions.
