head unit noise problem
i installed jvc head unit about 3 weeks ago, and fixed the noise problem, but i'm just trying to see if anyone had same problem.
i install jvc head unit(best buy's harness), and it's starting to make noise.
i've fixed problem with noise filter.(two for $30).
is it normal to making noise without noise filter to have aftermarket cd player?
ps. please forgive my english, but i think this write up is pretty enough to understand.
thanks.

Try to ground all your grounds at the same point, this includes your amp and radio and any other processor (if you have any). And make sure its a solid and paint free part of the metal (scrape away if you have to).
Also, what type of noise are you getting? whine, click, hiss etc.
are you getting the noise all the time? cd only, am/fm only or both.
make sure your amp is not touching any part of the car's metal. And run your RCA's away from the power wires.
