Default xm radio

I bought an '03 sc430 6 mos. ago. I love the car but miss xm radio.The dealer says there is no dealer xm option and after market installs are poor. Does anyone know if there is a way to install xm wth out messing up the sc430 sound system or interior?Looking for an installer in So. FLa.

the 200.00 plus xm ipod adapter made by numerous companies can put xm though your factory sound system but the firmware in the screen does not support touch screen control of the xm . so you will still need a remote control but at least its not cassette or fm modulated. the adapter emulates a factory lexus periphral so communicates with the factory sound system but just not the screen.

Vaistech makes an adapter that may work with your car that will allow you to add an aux input and hardwire an aftermarket XM or Sirius receiver in. You can check with them directly.

BTW, aftermarket installs are not poor if done properly and creatively.
