What sub will drop into the stock GS400 location?

any 10 inch sub. you need a free air sub tho from what i've researched. someone explain why can't you put a regular sub back into the factory spot? the factory sub isnt a free air sub is it?

and I want a sub that BOLTS right in the stock location. It seems this sub fits but you have to use zip ties to mount it in.
So ... of "any 10" free air will do" which brand will actually bolt into place and you wire it up and you're done! Anyone know? Thanks,

Okay ... well, can you make a baffle with a little 1/4" or 1/2" MDF that bolts into the stock holes with the speaker bolting into the MDF? I just made baffles for the door speakers and this worked very well.
Would this clear all the rear decking and have the deck go down?
Are there any instructions in the forums on this or something similar to replace the stock sub? I've done a search and couldn't find anything.

be aware though, the rear deck isnt very thick so any extra heavy pounding will make the deck vibrate unless you reinforce it

I am sure that there are people here that will gladly sell you there old ml sub for cheap. I know when I upgrade my sub, I wont have anything but have it sit on my shelf.
