Well, if you unplug your stock amp, how do you think sound gets from the amp to the speakers?

Are you also installing a new head unit?

Running a power wire is typically done down the side of the car, under the carpet. It's usually very simple to find another bundle of wires that you can feed a decent power wire into or around.

so can i just tap onto the existing remote wire that is also located on the stock plugs or do i have to run a single remote wire from the head unit to the amp??

you can drill a hole through your firewall, or you can cut a slit in your boot around your steering column to get the power wire through.

I would get an audio pro to take a look at it for you.

went this morning, they told me i had to bypass it, slice the wires, etc.. but if they were to do it for me then it'll cost me $85-100, i'll pass for now.

Every instruction manual I've ever seen has diagrams for how to wire a stereo to speakers with or without an amp.

This is a very basic question that you should be able to answer for yourself if you open the manual. If you can't figure it out from the wiring diagrams in the manuals, I would suggest you pay the money to have a qualified stereo shop do the install for you.
