how to install an aftermarket amp in a SC300??
tried searching already but how do i supposed to install an aftermarket one or better yet why can't i hear anything from my speakers if i unplug the stock amp?? i found the remote wire and all but how do i bypass it..there's like 15 wires going into the stock amp and all i really need is just that one remote wire...

Well, if you unplug your stock amp, how do you think sound gets from the amp to the speakers?
Are you also installing a new head unit?
Running a power wire is typically done down the side of the car, under the carpet. It's usually very simple to find another bundle of wires that you can feed a decent power wire into or around.

ok so far i got mostly everything working, BUT i still don't hear no music unless i plug the stock amp plugs back into the amp..i tried taping the remote wire from the plug to the aftermarket amp, heard very little thumping but not normal..btw i'm running an Jensen indash DVD player so there's like a few wires left unhooked (installed by Circuit City)..what am i doing that is wrong? RCA's, power, ground, and remote is all connected...

Every instruction manual I've ever seen has diagrams for how to wire a stereo to speakers with or without an amp.
This is a very basic question that you should be able to answer for yourself if you open the manual. If you can't figure it out from the wiring diagrams in the manuals, I would suggest you pay the money to have a qualified stereo shop do the install for you.
