question about subs in trunk

i have a 94 sc400 and in the trunk i have a jlw6v2 i took out the stock 8" sub,, but my question is how do i get rid of the sound deadend when my doors are open it hits really hard and when my trunk is open.. now my question is how can i solve this problem should i remove the wall the rear deck speakers>> what should i do this is killing me all i hear is vib wheres the bass??

go with a forth order bandpass box. the type that has the sealed sub side firing into a ported side. vent the port thru the factory sub hole. make sure the box is designed around the sub or you will have more crappy bass than you have now. good luck
ohh yeah, leave all the deadening material in. you will thank your self later. lexus put it there for a reason, not to mention the fact thet people pay to have that stuff installed in cars that are built around quietness.

Mount the W6v2 to where the stock 8" was (on the rear deck) with a baffle or w/e so it fits. Then build a box for it under the sub hanging from the deck in the trunk.
Or u can do the 4th order bandpass as suggested.
