Time correction in the deck allows you to correct for the fact that you're sitting much closer to the left speaker than the right. It typically either lets you specify delays in miliseconds, or it lets you input the distance from your ears to each speaker in the car and then calculates the appropriate adjustment, so the sweet spot isn't in the center of the car, but closer to where you're sitting.

Got any fiberglassing tips or tutorials?
You could use bondo to to fix mistakes but its probably best to re-cut it. If you don't have access to a router, always cut outside the lines, so that you could sand it to make it fit. You won't have to re-cut.

As far as time correction, the Eclipse doesn't have it. It has a seating position optimizer, you should check it out, its pretty cool. You have to really get into the higher end radios to have time delays built in.

As far as fiberglass, go out and but some and practice. Do practice on your car right away, until you get used to it. Nobody thought me, I learned by watching my coworkers and and reading magazines.

Again, thanks for the nice words guys.

I stated and finished a trim panel/Ipod holder that goes under my armrest. I usually would have some pics, but my girlfriend took my camera this mourning, so no pics. I'll take some pics if I can get my camera back, whenever that is.

What type of power cable and RCAs are those? Stinger or KnuKoncept?

how did you make it so that you could disconnect your ipod quickly? did you just compress the tabs on the sides when you mounted the cable in the holder?

Do you have any experience with installing aftermarket alarms? And once again, more AMAZING work.

Phoenix gold - they probably buy their connectors from the same supplier as Stinger and Knu though

I cut a slot in the MDF exactly the same size as the docking connector, so when it came to fit it, the thickness of MDF automatically presses in the two tabs in.

No alarms - the only thing that I done back then was custom panels and enclosures, and some basic stereo installs
