Mounting amps to subwoofer box...
I heard that this may damage the amps cause due to vibration, should I be worried? I have mounted amps to back seats with subwoofer boxes pressing against it so I thought that would be the same thing.

No there is nothing wrong with it. If your box is well built then you should not be worried about box flexing. Also amps are built to take the conditions of a trunk area like vibrations, heat and so forth
Also those old school Rockfords are built like a tank and can take it.

like said above, you should be fine. The only reason i don't like mounting amps to the box is the whole smash&grab scenario. If someone breaks in all it takes is a few snips and everything is gone *happened to me with my 2 12W6v2's*
Also with the heatsinks pointed up on the rockford amps it will help a little bit with cooling them.

Thanks for your reply guys. The box is solid with 3/4" MDF wood. The reason I don't want to mount them to the rear seat is because I don't want anything perminant. I figured all I have to do is run power and rca's to the back and hook up everything to the whole package. And it's true that what's easy for me would also be easy for thieves. But I'll keep my trunk locked from the inside and keep my fingers crossed.
