Hi, my keyless entry is not working so I'm thinking to install after market security system which has keyless entry, trunk opener etc..

My friend installed COMPUSAR (http://compustar.org/) on his RAV4. I dont know anything about alarm system but i was impressed by their 2-way remote.

Have you heard of this brand? I heard of Viper but what's the difference? He told me $300 installation and it is cheaper than installing keyless entry ECU at dealer :P

Any other alarm systems you guys recommend?

I think its one of the best out.there are not too many systems that have more features than the compustar.

I paid $300 for the alarm itself, the extra remote cost $45. $300 for installation is cheap if it includes remote start...

I have it on my 2001 Lexus Gs300. I paid $550.00 install with remote starter. Very good alarm Hope that help jimmy

Have you heard of Alladin security systems? Prety similar to that Compustar setup.

I have the trunk opener motion and shock sensor. I never have a problem with the alarm. I have heard of Aladdin system from what i heard it is not a good alarm a lot of problems Jimmy
