I saw that Crutchfield has the 6610 has anyone installed it yet? Wanna know if i can leave the GPS disc in and still watch videos up front. I would also like to see the ipod controls. I want to be able plug in my IPOD video & leave it in the center cosole but control it from the radio's screen.

1. don't have mine yet should be this week i think
2. yes you never have to remove the navi disc, and as long as you bypass the unit (ground the parking brake wire) you can watch movies up front while you drive.
3. the ipod control is similar to the 6600, but i think it has been changed around a little bit. you can get full MUSIC control, but not video control. plug the ipod into the adapter and leave it in your glove box or wherever and you make all of your choices from the touch screen.
*my little sidenote about the ipod adapter*
A cool little thing about the eclipse ipod adapter that is rarely found in any other companies adapter. when you scroll through and choose a song 90% of the companies out there will select the song and the when you decide you want to search for another song, it will take you back to the very beginning. So if you're listeneing to some Sublime and decide you want to listed to some Twista, you have to start ALL the way from the beginning. However, if you are using an eclipse adapter it will take you to where you left off last and then you can scroll from there. Kinda a cool little thing from Eclipse
