what kti do i need?
just a seemingly basic question that im certain most of you know.
im hooking up my 4 channel alpine to my stage speakers(front spes and rr coaxs 6.5's), then have another mono alpine to drive one soundstream ref 12.
question- will a mutli amp kit work, or do i need a multi amp kit PLUS a special 4 channel RCA jack?
any advice would greatly be appreciated as we all know these kits are not cheap.
looking to go 4 guage?
4 channel 80w x 4 RMS, and will bridge the mono to run 300w RMS to the sub. doing all this in my 97 es 3.
already built the 12" sealed box for the sub( too mathematically challenged to figure out the port specs), and cust fabricated amp cabinet so amps will sit flush mounted, hiding the sub that will be facing the back seats.
ok audio gurus, lay your knowledge upon the!

if you want to do it you can do a 4 gauge back then distribute it to 2 8's for the amps. You can run three two channel RCAs or a 4 channel RCA & a 2 Channel RCA. just depends on what you want and how good you want it to sound.
I don't think you should have to go any bigger than 4 gauge for the alpine amps, they're not big current drawing amps. If you wanted to step it up you could go with 1/0 and distribute to 4.
