Bel RX65 pro- Sunlight affects Laser detection?
I purchsed this radar detector when I bought my indash. I was going to get a Passport but the guy told me to get the BEL Pro RX65, he said as far as he was concerned it was the best one that they carried.
I love it and I trust it alot. Its a great radar detector, but I have noticed that when I drive in the morning the laser detection goes off alot.
It goes off in about the same area.. but when I am coming home in the PM hours it doesn't go off. It also seems that whenever it goes off, the sunlight is shining into the windsheild- which means its going to the detector. It usually happens as I drive to school. When I drive home (same route) it doesn't happen- probably because the sun is now a different kind of sunlight and it's in a different direction.
Is it possible that sunlight affects the laser detection?
