would this work with a nav equipped 98 gs? i would think it's the same as the regular headunit.

I'm ready!
I've got a '96 LS400 with the Nakamichi head unit and glovebox CD changer. The changer is not working properly, but does turn on.
Let me know if you think your set up will work with mine.

I would love to see a writeup of this as soon as possible. Definately a nice little project to take on in my car. Have a dead ipod, and getting this to work would give me a reason to bring it back from the dead

If your changer will power up, this should work for you just fine.

Correction, I just found out that my CD changer does work, I had the CD's upside down.... oooppps!

PD--other than powering your ipod and providing pre-amp signals, is there any advantage to your setup for those of us that are using "headphone output" mp3 players over simpy using a DPDT switch to control input?
