Piggy back on 1st Gen door speakers

im in the process of buying the rear door pod speakers for my 94 GS3. This guy via email told me the front and rear pods are the same. Now i ask the 1st Gen audio Gods for there wisdom. Is this true? I want to try putting in some 5.25(was told 6.5 would be too hard) and dont want to mess mines up and have no sound for a while. (Ohh P.S....i pay my ties faithfully to the Church of Lexus if this helps with the Gods)

I am not sure if the pods are exact butI can check for you onmonday since I am redoing everything in my car. If you need the rear enclosures I have them...
