Default HOW do I do this? Stock NAV to aftermarket?

Ok guys, so I have some questions here. Right now I have the stock NAV in my 99 GS300. As most of you know the climate controls and such are all done through that module. When I go to an aftermarket headunit am I going to be able to retain those climate control abilities or am I going to have to buy a non NAV climate control? How hard is the swap?

yes you would have to go back to the non nav ac control. the wiring would be a problem as the nav ac hooked differently then the nav ac module behind the nav screen. at least the plkugs are the same as the non nav ac heater control so its possible. it would be easier to go to 2001 to 2005 gs nav system then aftermarket. you wouldnt have to run any new wires to the trunk. the denso made computer way better than any aftermarket and as newer denso computers came available with real time traffic etc you could update the whole computer. once you buy a 1 pice aftermarket you could never undate the gps drive just the map.
