Bluetooth install for 2003 GS430
Proud new owner of a 2003 GS430 and my first post here. I've searched several threads here about this but didn't find the answerfor my specific vehicle. Is there anyway I can add bluetooth functionality to this model car (without using the headset of course)? I guess this was standard in 04. I've got a bluetooth enabled phone (Motorola RAZR) and I'd love to have the bluetooth system integrated as much as possible. I've seen some newer cars have it integrated with the nav and sound system, and it's voice activated too. Is this possible with the 03 GS430?
Thanks!
Thanks!

There have been several threads on this forum about installing Bluetooth kits in a GS but I don't remember seeing a thread specifically about the 03 GS430. Most of the threads I've seen have been about installing kits in older models.
In at least one of the threads, someone showed how they wired a Bluetooth kit to use the GS door speakers. Here is a thread about an 03 GS300 where some of the connections were made at the passenger side kick panel: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...ight=Bluetooth
I think 2003 was the last year that the GS/LS was wired for a phone kit but I'm not certain. I wired my my phone kit's mute wire and antenna to OEM phone system connectors under the center console of my 00 LS but I don't know if the 2003 models still had the phone connectors under the console.

IHF1000 or CK3100
Thanks Kansas. With your help I found a couple compatible car kits for my RAZR. One is a Motorola IHF1000 and the other is a Parrot CK3100. Looks like the Parrot ports the audio through the car speakers, which I think would be a nice feature. If anyone has any comments on either of these I'd appreciate it.
