Here's a good thread about subs DjFergi -- https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=272199
A lot of great subs listed there-- and a little tech info on them

and the things with jl is that the sounds travel...in side sounds real nice but when u stand up close on the outside it dont seem like its that loud but if coming from somewhere you can definately hear it coming...everytime my gf drives coming home, im in my house all the way in the back and feel the floor shaking... and thats even when its not up...imagine when its up to its max and windows down....

yeah don't do the 13W7, just stick with the 2 12W6v2's. You'll still get great qualtiy bass and deep bass with your setup. Plus you're moving more air with 2 12's as opposed to 1 13....that and the 13's are pretty muddy too
that's pretty good deal for the install too. props! that would have been closer to a grand for just the trunk at our shop.
you guys are killin me with your shop RCAs though

2 4gauges are alright, i'm going to run a 2 gauge and split into three 4gauges when i add in my second 300/2.
yes the RCAs will make a difference. you don't have to go outlandish like i did and use JL RCAs, but definitly do something better because you're dealing with good quality signal from those amplifiers.

it shouldn't take power from your subs since you have a capacitor.
remember that the JL amp is staggered as well, it's 150x2 in the front and 75x2 in the rear. I would have suggested to not do the rear 6x9's but that's just me, plus you're running MB Quarts they're known for being pretty harsh.
