Here's an MTX 1000d -- Bidding is at $150 -- Birthsheet says 1200w @ 12.5v -- So at 15~16v it'll make closer to 1400w -- http://cgi.ebay.com/MTX-THUNDER-1000...QQcmdZViewItem

sweet-- you won't be disappointed whether you get a single 2000 or a pair of 1000's -- Either will pound-- a pair of 1000's will have the edge on overall output and efficiency, and the single 2000 will have the edge on a little better sound q, while being one of the top woofers on the market today--

If you get a 2000, get a single 4ohm, a pair of 1000's need to be the dual 4 voice coil model -- either will match your amp well--

So in short, if you want to inflict pain on innocent bystanders and lose your hearing quickly while sounding good-- get the pair of 1000's, and if you want the utmost of SQL, SQ + SPL, get the 2000-- as it's a no compromise SQL woofer-- Sound quality of a Kappa Perfect, Image Dynamics, or Dynaudio sub, with the output of a CV stroker-- either one sounds good to me--

The 3000 is only in a 15 or an 18 -- I wouldn't mess with one of those unless you had an suv and were absolutely crazy-- The 3000 also won't match your amp in ohm load--

Hello
If i were u i would get a 180amp alternator, and if u have a gs300, or a 400 idle on the engine usually runs 500 to 600rpm's get a 1 5/8" pulley on the alternator get 1 yellow top under the hood, and 2, or 3 yellow in the trunk, run 1,or 2 runs of 0 guage wire to the battery's in the trunk, and get 2 guage max to ur amps (if the batteries are in the trunk u dont need 0 guage to ur amps 2 guage is fine, 4 guage maybe iffy especally on class ab amps, its better to get a class d amp it doesnt require huge amounts of power to make power). U should be fine.
