I went to give MS Excell classes to a person and his mom like 20 minutes away from my house. When I came out the antenna of the car was hanging.... I was like ...:eek:

Does anybody know how much it will be to get it replaced? can I do it myself? what tools do I need? I saw it on ebay for $50. Is this a reasonable price?

I could blame it on some kids that were playing football next to the car but only God knows.

There is nothing wrong with your ant. Just go to the dealer and ask for an Ant. Mast. It is replacable and the cost is dirt cheap like 20 bucks or so. As for tools you will need some assorted screw drivers and a few Millimetric sockets. Its very easy to do . I recommend it as a " Do it yourselfer"

did the 92 model come without an Antenna?

I dont have one.. it's built whithin the car.. how weird.. did they stop building them inside the car?

Remove the antenna nut. Hold down the first and last buttons on you radio, maybe am and cd, anyway in that row. While holding down those buttons turn the key on, it will read ANT on your radio. It will be in antenna mode and will run the antenna motor for an extended time to expell the antenna cable. When you turn your key on jump out and grab the antenna, to prevent it from hitting your car. Pay attention to which direction the teeth are facing on the cable so when you reintsall it you will be ahead of the game.

Yeah.. perfect reception... i even have an arial plug that slots into the back of the stereo.

There are no holes in the body work either... all built into the car... not sure how..
