IF- Money is no object--
DLS-- also one of the best of the best
Morel-- one of the best of the best
Focal-- Wants to be up there around Morel Level (naah, just as good-- but watch the cheap line)
Dynaudio-- up there around Morel Level
Rainbow-- one of the highest lines you can get

ALSO- Good Value--
Diamond Audio Hex components absolutely rock-- very very good quality-- maybe as good as FOCAL/Morel/etc...
MB Quart-- only their high end line is worth messing with, BUT, I absolutely hate metal tweeters-- avoid them if you don't like tinkly high's-- Silk 28mm is the way to go for a nice even balanced tweet -- aluminum and ti are just harder to damp well and get right-- not saying it can't be done-- and MB's lower lines DON'T--

With any one of those, you can't lose-- But Focal sells cheap lines that I would choose Diamond's Hex series over, and for about the same money--

Morel is the real thing--
CDT -- rocks

I always liked infinity and polk audio myself. I agree some MB quart speakers can sound great but there lower line stuff is just plain average.

The guys at DIY Mobile Audio have been using the Dayton RS series 4 ohm mid-basses paired with many different tweeters. Check out the site for different cross-over designs or run an active system like most of them do.
