i installed a nakamichi in my sc4 and it does not turn on at all. the speaker works for the phone so i'm assuming the amp is working but the radio doesn't work at all. what could be the problem? i checked every fuse too. the power mirror/seat set switches don't work either if this has something to do w/ it.-D

did you install a stock unit or aftermarket unit?

The car has the stock nakamichi . one of the harnesses is unplugged,posibly for the trac control on/ off.

Have you checked the fuses? There are two fuses to check

where are the 2 fuses? actually my seat set switches do work but mirrors don't. does the mirror ecu effect the radio? there's one other thing- the harness for traction control on/off switch is unplugged becuase i have the wrong center console-would not having this harness plugged in have anything to do w/ the radio not turning on? when i forgot to plug the hazard switch the turn signals didn't work so i don't know.

The power mirror fuse and the radio use the same fuse under the dash. there is another fuse under the hood. I guess you need to connect everything back before start trouble shoot.
