aftermarket radio, stock antenna...help?

Default aftermarket radio, stock antenna...help?

hey guys, i have this '94 es300 with an aftermarket radio in it. how do i get the motor connected so that the antenna goes up and down, and more importantly how can i get it so that i can put in a new mast?

You need to hook up the blue wire to the antenna wire. If there is a harness just match the wires. If not hook the blue wire from the radio to the light green with red stripe on the car.

sweet! thanks for the help! and i'm assuming that i just stick the new harness in there while it's on and it'll be replaced?

You shouldn't have to replace anything. The wire will be there on the back of the radio. If who ever hooked the radio up used a harness than just hook the blue wire from the radio to the blue wire on the harness. If they did not use a harness it will be hard wired. In this case you will hook up the blue wire from the radio to the lt green/red wire.
Once you get the power antenna hooked up you should be able to replace your mast provided the motor works or the mast isn't broken in half down in the power unit.
