every other speaker in the my sc300 has sound coming from it except for my 10" subwoofer
Im planning on upgrading the stock later on but as a temporary I would like my stock to work. so what would be the first diagnosis for the problem??
is there a sub fuse? or an amp fuse located somewhere?

Mine was dead too--

I didn't bother troubleshooting the problem as I removed it completely and reglued the ring in place for the grille brackets to remain intact and to remain the foam ring on the top to reduce rattling--

BUT-- I would probe the power wire -- you need to remove the rear deck cover which requires removing the sub grille first-- then the whole rear seat-- Hint: To remove the sub grille-- simply pull up on the front edge fairly hard-- the rear brackets slide out after the front clips are pulled up-- really easy to do --

Then you can get to the wiring to the sub amp --
