Well, after 15 years it finally happened. Turned the car on and the radio display shows nothing but a huge string of "F"s and some of the other things are lit up too on it. I'm guessing the "F"s stand for "you failed at life, buddy." In any case, I think I need a working radio, (headunit, all speakers/sub and amp work fine) so someone PM or respond to this if you have an extra.

The Nak in my 92 sc400 just did the same thing.

Also, the antenna went down.

No response to any buttons( or banging, or cussin, etc.)

Only 240k miles too!

I will be watching to see how your fix goes before I attempt anything.

a freind of mine has suggested that the memory module in it has become detached, and since its soldered in, i might as well just get a working head unit to swap in, as taking apart and resoldering is much more work. I could be wrong tho.
