I just finished installing my 2 12 Jl's W3 in my Gs and it is sound awesome but the problem I am haveing is my license plate is rattling like crazy.Have any of you guys had this problem and have any ideas of stopping this annoying rattle. Thanks in advance.

Katen - I removed my license plate frame & applied Dynamat to the back of the plate itself. Now it's stuck to the body of the car & no rattles!!

I used 3M double-sided tape between the license plate frame and plate and then some between the plate and the car. No rattles.

I would caution against this. The filler, whatever it may be, will collect and hold moisture, and not bode well for your paint, and metal in general.

The other recommendations sound great though.

I was thinkning you could try finding some rubber washers at a hardware store. Take you best guess of how thick/thin they need to be, and also take into consideration the lenth of bolt/screw you'll need since when you add the washers, they'll need to be a tad bit longer...

i dynamatted the back of my license plate as well. works great...

I just fixed the problem! I got a sponge type of material and wedged it in between the licence plate and the plate holder and the rattle is gone. Thanks for the help guys.
