Default I'm about to do the big 3 but.....

I am in the process of upgrading some wires under the hood.

1) Alternator Positive to Battery Positive

2) Battery Negative to Chassis

3) Chassis to Engine Block

would anyone know what the lengths are (asking whom ever has done this procedure) of 1/0 awg,or about how many feet will i need off of a spool?

this is all going on a 1993 gs300.

1/0???? -- maybe 8ga -- for a 3 foot run 8ga can carry over 350+ amps at 15v --

I doubt your wires will ever see more than 100a --

A 10ga will carry more than you'll ever need current wise-- but 8ga is good insurance and little sturdier--

Like I'm saying-- 350amps that 8 gauge can easily carry for 3~ ft is enough for nearly 3200w rms--

Surely you don't plan on having a true 3000w rms for one little car --

More like 12ft sounds right-- maybe 15 -- battery to block is short-- battery to alt. is a little longer, Battery to chassis is very short-- Firewall is fine for that one-- Or the frame rail-- just be sure to sand the paint completely off under the ring terminal--

Use star washers to guarantee a good connection between all points.
