What gauge wire are you guys using to extend the harness? Also where can I buy an OEM looking dash kit for this car for a single din?

Dear aklanjac28, we have the OEM looking bezel: http://www.beatsonicusa.com/sla-31fb.html

To make it a single din, you will nee to purchase a universal single din pocket to fill the space.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Wow that is so overpriced compared to other kits, and the other kits come with more items and a pocket. Thanks but no thanks.

Great write up! Your dash kit looks like an exact color match. Where did you get it?

I'm betting he got it here. It's a perfect match. I just installed a double din into a 98 GS400 and the installer kept complimenting the kit.

Took about a week to get mine and well worth it.

I have the crutchfield harness (87+) and I want to run my speakers off an aftermarket 2ch (straight from amp to x-over to speakers not to the back of the deck), so to power, dimmer antenna etc. the deck I still need to extend wires and all to stock amp? Or would I just be good with using the harness with the powers, contant, dimmer, ground, and antenna?

If your still looking, or anyone is looking for the kits, i might be able to get a few of them. im not sure if the single dins are in stock but prices for double dins are more around $23-$27 local, and can do better prices if more are purchased. but like i said, its been awhile since i've done another one of these, but might need to do it again on my other gs now. hopefully next week i can get more acurate prices, but i think i paid maybe $20 for my kit over a year ago
