Default 92 es300 Pioneer Avic N3 install (speed sensor leads?)

Hello... I've installed pretty much everything correctly for this unit in my car except for one thing i'm having trouble with...this is the speed sensors lead and the reverse sensor lead...The trouble I'm having with this is locating where to tap these wires into...I think i've found the wires for the "Car speed signal input" lead which is indicated in these two diagrams i'm going to be posting up... This is for a 1992 Lexus ES300

Is the wire I highlighted in this diagram the correct wire that i should be tapping the speed sensor wire into?

And also, does anyone have any idea where I would find the wire "reverse gear signal input" that i would tap the 2nd lead into?

are you doing a backup camera? if no then you don't need to hook up the reverse wire. i just did an AVIC-D2 install in a friends 1j SC with NO speed sensor wire and the navi tracked us just fine on the test drive.

the speed sensor wire is basically just a backup incase you don't have GPS signal. So it's not too much to worry about anymore.

ok..but just to be safe, i want to connect these wires anyways...do you have any idea where i might be able to look for the reverse wire lead? and also, would this be a correct wire to hook up the speed sensor lead to taht i posted up in the diagrams?

yes that should be fine for the speed sense wire, and reverse wire you might be able to find around your shifter. it should be a positive polarity when reverse is engaged.

Left my Speed sensor wire unhooked on my AVIC-N2 in my 2000 ES300 and no problems.
