I turned on my car this morning and found my HU displaying some random characters. It was working just fine yesterday and I can still hear my cd player moving. The HU is not responding at all, there is a tape in it and I can't eject it. Please tell me how I can fix this problem. I was planning to install a sub and amp this weekend :-( The car is all stock right now, I didn't mess with anything.

fixed it... just had to unplug the (-) batt. cable and let it reset. i realized that my (-) batt. clamp is kinda loose. this is causing my car not to start sometimes. can someone recommend a good quality batt. clamp that will fit tight.

My NAk did exactly the same thing, as have many others discussed on this forum.

I was skeptical, but did as you said.

Removed the cable from battery, then put back on.

To my amazement, my unit reset and now works perfectly!
