Default XM-Radio: how do I find my "radio ID"

My trial period for XM has expired and I need my radio ID to sign up for the service. I understand that I am supposed to tune to Channel 000 to get this information. However, I can't get the radio to tune to that channel -- if I go to Channel 001 and go back one, it jumps past 000 to the next channel (like 999 or whatever it is). Any ideas?

Thanks.

(PS Have a 2007 GSh)

My 3 month trial expired yesterday. I tuned to channel 000 with the tuning **** on the right. One click per channel. It's that easy. I was on the phone for less than 5 minutes with XM to add the radio to my existing account. Or you could just call them. You had to give them the radio ID to turn on the 3 month trial. It's in their system.

Yea...I've tried that -- it skips past Channel 000.

Wonder if it's because I have the Vaistech ipod thing installed. Maybe I'll try disconnecting my ipod then trying to get 0000

try channel 298 i think ,or look in the 200's. I believe there is another channel you can use instead of 000.

Thanks -- I'll take a look.

I was also speculating that the fact I have the Vaistech ipod adapter installed somehow is interfering with channel 000. I contacted them, but they were confident it wasn't the issue. But will try your suggestion...

Well, still no luck. It seems like since my trial period has expired, most of the channels (including those in the 200's) wont tune in at all. Hmmm...

I've contacted my dealer to see if they can get the Radio ID on their end.

That's not something they would have. Did you call XM? They should have it since you had to give it to them to start the 3 month trial. Did you ever use the XM web site? They should list all of your radios there. All 3 of mine are listed.
