I have a couple of questions about the how to hook up an amp.
I have an '02 GS 430
ML system and stock radio
1. Im using a LOC but it has four wires coming out of it. Do I just hook up one pair to the original sub wires?
2. Where can I find the remote turn for the Ml amp so that I can tap into it?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

i would suggest using a HI-LOW convertor that has an amp turnon wire in the piece. that's what we use when we have to do an amp in a factory system, it's much easier.

You can always probe the connector and look for + and - 12v .... Then once you've established which wire is ground and positive, you have two wires ruled out--
Now cut the radio off-- if the positive wire you found is still powered it's constant-- If it shut off with the radio power, it's the remote lead-- That's the one you want of course-- The remote lead will read 12v+ and will be switched with radio power--
