Thought I'd Share A Few Pics of My Sirius Install In My Ashtray of GS300
I remember going nuts looking for pics when I wanted to have my sirius installed in the ashtray. I found a few helpful pics so I thought I'd share mine. I think its the best possible place in the GS to put the radio. The ashtray compartment still opens and closes like it should with no problems. This way I don't have to take the radio out everytime I get out of my car and don't have to worry about anyone lookin in and stealin it. The antenna in also on the back roof and doesn't look too bad. It was the best place I could figure to have it installed.
Enjoy....
Enjoy....

I wish you had some pictures from the install....What did you use to gut the tray and how did you mount the recieved inside?
I have an xm radio which just hangs off the ask tray on sockets...would love to get it inside the tray.

I had to take the ashtray out and cut out the insides of it, so there is no going back on that. The reciever just fits in there where its sturdy and does not move at all. I bought the newer model of this reciever at Best Buy but had to return it cause it was slightly too big. I had to order this older one on Ebay. I also had to grind down one of the plastic covers on one of the wires too so it would fit.

Lexusondubs where were you when I was lookin for pictures?!?!
I like what you did with the air ride controls. What is that all around it? It almost looks likes whatever those water noodles are made of.
