So basically your telling me variable valve timing gave these cars 30 to 40 horsepower!! I like the idea of it, just don't know enough to be a big fan. Glad to hear about that bottom end. So, you going with a wet or dry system??? The dry is a lot easier install especially if the fuel pressure regulator is adjustable. I've got to learn more about this motor. Right now i think the biggest holdback on this car is the exhaust. I personaly don't want anything to loud, but right now it's seems restrictive. So what's up on the converter??? It seems I'm not hearing a lot of good things about SC400.com. Was going to order a strut tower brace from them, don't know now. I was going to ask you if you had one and what kind it was. Looks like the Cusco is the only one available. Don't particularly like the blue strut braces, guess I could get powder-coated. Damn those are high cost spark plugs.
Don't spend all your money, still got speakers here waiting on you.

SSmith i was wondering which focals you used in your front stage- polykevlars, polyglass etc.?
I'm assuming they have different mounting depths so i'd like to find out exactly how deep the ones were that you used as I've got some 6 1/2s with a 73mm depth and i thnk it's going to be close.

Shane are yours the the phase plug version (165K2s) or the 165Ks?
According to the focal site the K2s have a mounting depth of 78mm so if that's the case those my drivers would definitely be ok.
By the way you're welcome to give your other set away to me
Nah seriously i'd take them off your hands in a flash but the aussie dollar is s.hit as per usual

This is an old thread I know, but I was just wondering around and came across this and read it all... LOL Lex you got a little off subject near the end... Its to bad SSmith didn't post any pics But I did have one question... You and SSmith kept refer to MDF, That is the pressed wood stuff right ?? (the stuff in your pics that you did your trunk in)
