Hey guys, I have (2) 12" Rockford-Fosgate HX2 subs in a custom ported box that fits perfect in second gen Lexus GS's ('98-'05). It sits on the shelf/ledge deep in the back of the trunk so trunk space would still be available. I had this box custom made from a local shop for about $220 to meet my exact specs. The main port is located on the top in the center and is in line with the stock sub woofer location to emit greater sound throughout the cabin. Everything is in GREAT condition and never beat on (I always keep the gain about 1/4 all the time). Please suggest a good price for me to ask for this setup. I am in NY so I kind of prefer a more "local" pick-up. I don't want to put this in classifieds yet because I realize as per CL classified rules you must have a price attached...please advise. Thanks....

In all honesty, the HX2 subs won't fetch a very high resale. Sucks, but true. I would try selling them with the box and see how it goes. You can get them off egay for 20.00 a sub. GL with your decision and sale.

Hmmm....I wonder why they don't resale that good? I bought these subs about 4.5 years ago and paid about $400 for them in a ported box. I want to lose some weight in my car. Do you think I should keep one of these subs and try to squeeze it into the stock sub location or sell everything and get a "newer" technology 10" or 12" sub for that stock location? Subs and box are almost at 80lbs! That weight has gotta go...
