I was working on this last night, but me and my friends were only able to squeeze it through a metal lip and the plastic plenum for the HVAC system. Is there anyway to route a 8ga. power cable on the driver's side of a 1st gen LS?

dude u got to be kidding me what do u plan on powering with that straw. Man u need a water hose the reason i say this is because its much better for current to go threw wire the size of a water hose, (4,2,0guage wire) than go threw a straw even a class d amp will crave more power, and going threw a straw (8 guage wire). Its not happening captain. Hope this helps. ![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

Haven't done it myself yet, but I plan on drilling a hole from underneath the steering wheel into the firewall, coming out just next to the master cylinder. I've heard this is the best place.
I'm going to drill a hole for some 0ga wire.
