Default 2gs3 Sub Installation

Is there anywhere to connect the signal wires from an amp to the back of the stock gps headunit?

Can i use the speaker wires that go to the rear stock sub and plug them into an aftermarket amp to power some subs?

I dont know about queston one but i can answer question 2...You will need a LLC (low lne converter) tap that into the wires running into your stock sub..the LLC then changes the signal into RCA's which then go to the amp and the rest is history.

Are signal wires just connected to the power source of the navi/headunit?

hmm...ill give it a try. Yep..just bought it!

As for the subs i finished making my mdf enclosure, that should fit snug under whre the stock sub is.

2 12" Polk DB's and a Kenwood 6202 Amp should be pretty decent right? Im kind of on a budget. i would go with 10" subs, but i relaly like look the of the extra size of the 12's, and they are only $8 more at my local store!

It will be alright man. When I bought my line converter at the local audio shop it was around 15 bucks but you know how that goes. You will be good to go!
