A few weeks ago I bought the Eclipse avn5435. The voice guidance for the navigation worked perfectly when i had all the stock speakers running off the headunit. But now im running a set of infinity components off an aftermarket amp and now my voice guidance doesn't work. I checked the settings and it says voice guidance is on and the speakers work when i play music and dvds. If anyone knows why the voice guidance doesnt work please chime in.
BTW...The front door speakers are the inifinity componets running off the aftermarket amp but the rear door speakers are stock and still running off the headunit.

First go to settings, and see what the volume is for the voice guidance.
Also, check your rca's on the headunit, see if you have front, rear, and sub, if you do make sure the amps rca's are plugged in the front set.

if the speakers work when music plays then the RCAs are connected in.
and these are plugged in correctly, the nav voice should be coming out of the front right speaker(or any speaker depending on which amp inpuit you plugged the front right rca into).
only suggesttion i can think of is for you to reset the entire system. to do this, just take off one of the battery heads for at least 10 mins. keep in mind this also clears your clock, seat ,memory and all. also refreshes your ecu computer for a refreshed drive.
good luck

Might also be worth confirming that the L/R balance operates normally, too. Just in case he tied to Rfront and Rrear outputs instead of L/R.
