That is pretty interesting. I think my issue with that is over here in California lots of buildings and houses go up everyday. So would they have to update their system every six months atleast.

Anyways, that seems to be a nice system.

Amazing stuff. Pretty soon navigations will come with dedicated graphic accelerators, you get to choose options like Nvidia 8600GT or 8800GT with high def resolution on a 17" screen!

The latest one I saw was I think a Panasonic Strada...it had acutal pictures of the city and there was a virtual arrow telling you where to turn. So even if there was a lag (especially in cities like Tokyo), you could visually make sure you turn at the right corner.
