Default Experience with Kenwood

I am looking at some Kenwood gear for another car we own. Anyone have any experience with it or Kenwood in general?

The Head Unit I am looking at is the KVT-910DVD, which includes a motorized LCD, DVD and TV Tuner with all the other bells and whistles. Also, I am looking at the Kenwood 2100 NAV. I have been told that it uses the same map service as Alpine but that the user interface is better. Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks.

Kenwood is a great product!! I'm sure you'd be happy with those components....

I'm sure you've already looked at Alpine but maybe you should also take a look at Pioneer. They have a great new dvd/cd/tv head unit!!

They also have VOICE ACTIVATED NAV!! Very cool!!.... Good luck!

When the KVT-910DVD was released I put it( demo unit) in my personal car for a few months. It was all that you could ask for. Im not the type that reads the little booklets that come with it so Im sure it did even more. The only thing is the touch screen and fingerprints when you're eating or something. but i guess u shouldnt be eating, driving and playing with a touch screen at the same time anyways... I have a pioneer on the way to 'try-out' for a few months so I cant give any feedback on those yet.
The Kenwood is in the best next to the Alpines coming out which are wayyyy over priced IMHO

It's hard to beat the Kenwood unit. It is one of the only units that come with a tuner. I have the older Kenwood unit and have never had a problem.
