Well, the amp went out on my car a few days after me buying it and it's bothered me ever since that while I could still hear the stereo, it was faint and the bass was thumping bad even though it was turned all the way down. After getting everything apart, I found about a 1/2 gallon of water in the rear under the amp caused by this drain tube being disconnected:
Got a used amp from Gazi and set out to replace the amp. Tools needed to complete the job: 10mm socket and a flat-head screwdriver. And here we go...
-Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wrap with a rag to prevent accidental grounding.
-Open trunk lid and support it if necessary to prevent the lid from falling on your head.
-Fold trunk mat in half and pull out of the cargo area.
-Remove the back panel by carefully prying up the 2 push-in clips at the bottom with your flat-head screwdriver and pulling the top straight back towards you to disengage the top clips.
