HELP! stock alarm going off for no reason?

Default HELP! stock alarm going off for no reason?

my damn stock alarms go's off for no reason. first thought it was the after market alarm causing problem so i take out the brain for the after market alarm and just lock my doors with the key. after 10 to 15 mins it go's off again. So i disconnect the battery for now because people on the street threaten to tow my car for disturbing the peace. What can it be? sensors? stock alarm brain if theres one? help thanks

mine does...err...well did that. I found out my door latch was malfunctioning and wouldnt register that the door was closed. I unplugged the big white clip on the door latch inside the door pannel. Look to see if the door adjar light is on all the time. Mine is and it wont let the door lock button on the key work nor the auto headlights to turn off when I open the door. Just something for you to check out.

I'll take a look later today. i sore of thought it was that too because of how heavy the door is, it does really close right and closing it so much could cause damage to the door sensor. Thanks!

Got a similar issue that seems to be actuated by my trunk latch - could be going out, but I haven't checked it out yet. Only happens once every 6-months or so when the trunk is opened before disarming the car.

There's no such thing as no reason with an alarm. There is a trigger open.
